hand-woven of
pandanus fiber,
is a loose weave to allow water or
air to pass through the basket and
around its contents.

Baskets have been the most important
forms for storing and carring food
and possessions among the essentially nomadic Australian Aboriginal people of the Central Desert.

to the basket rim, 23" to the top of handle.

It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as to its Australian Aboriginal origin.
