Kiln-Fired Clay Figures

In the 1970s, a German woman living in Alice Springs, Australia, created molded and kiln-fired clay objects, using the ochres from the surrounding countryside. She hired Aboriginal women artists to paint traditional dot motifs on each animal form. Three decades later, the selection includes several creatures. Wouldn’t one look good in your home or office?
