Eddie Blitner was born in 1961 in Naiyalrindji, Ngukkurr Community,
Roper River, NT.
Eddie began to paint at about age 7, by watching and listening to his grandfather paint on bark. At age 16, he started painting Dreamings from his grandfathers. Eddie is also known for his woodcarving.
