Traditional Worimi tribal lands
are on the east coast of New
South Wales, to the north of
Sydney. Newcastle is the
modern city that developed
within or adjacent to these
lands. As a result, Worimi
people today are primarily
urban. Worimi paintings
display the influences of
"white" Australian culture.
