Wilson Romero Gallery:
Fetish carvings by Wilson Romero, Cochiti

Wilson Romero has a distinctive style that, while similar in some ways to his brother, Salvador, has its own charm and appeal. His carvings are both rough and refined, depending on the material. He frequently carves basalt or lava rock, but also carves in other pueblo stones. Wilson has been relatively inactive for the past few months, recuperating from by-pass surgery. He now is back at full strength and carving again.
