Mottled yellow-white pueblo stone is where this rabbit has been hiding for who knows how long. Salvador Romero, Cochiti carver, discovered it and returned it to its original form. You don't have to believe that to appreciate the power of this carving. Salvador acquired this stone from the rolling terrain of the Cochiti Pueblo. Therefore, you can't classify it the way Zuni or Navajo fetish carvings materials are classified. But you can sense that it will be at home somewhere in your home. Hey, if a rabbit's foot means "good luck," imagine what a whole rabbit means.
