The koala is a marsupial, native to Australia and nowhere else. It is very docile, almost slothful, and sits high in a certain eucalyptus tree, the leaves of which it eats.

The paint, applied by an aboriginal woman, is inthe style of traditional dot paintings

One of the favorite things for visitors to Australia is to get their pictures taken holding a koala.
