This coil basket is tightly hand-woven pandanus, with an attached handle. It shows alternating bands of color. Baskets have been the most important items for storing and carrying food and possessions among nomadic desert people.

11" in diameter x 7" from the base to the basket rim, 15" to the top of handle.

It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as to its origin as a creation of an Australian aboriginal artist.
